Registration
and Renewal

All chiropractors in Ontario must be registered with CCO and renew their certificates of registration annually. The registration and renewal requirements are the same for all applicants – whether educated domestically or internally.

  1. Applicant files registration application
  2. Applicant provides transcripts, vulnerable sector check and fees
  3. Registrar reviews application including national examination results (from Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board)
  4. Application approved with or without terms, conditions, or limitations (3-5 business days of completed application) or referred to Registration Committee
  5. Registration Committee decisions potentially reviewed by Health Professions Appeal and Review Board (HPARB)
