All chiropractors in Ontario must be registered with CCO and renew their certificates of registration annually. The registration and renewal requirements are the same for all applicants – whether educated domestically or internally.

- Applicant files registration application
- Applicant provides transcripts, vulnerable sector check and fees
- Registrar reviews application including national examination results (from Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board)
- Application approved with or without terms, conditions, or limitations (3-5 business days of completed application) or referred to Registration Committee
- Registration Committee decisions potentially reviewed by Health Professions Appeal and Review Board (HPARB)
