Ontario Extends Masking Requirements in Health-Care Settings
April 25, 2022
The Ontario Government has announced an extension of masking requirements in certain settings from April 27, 2022 until June 11, 2022. These settings include clinics that provide health care services, which include chiropractic and other regulated health professional offices, as well as public transit, hospitals, long-term care homes and other congregate care settings. Please see the Provincial Order under the Health Protection and Promotion Act, 1990 for further details.
Members are required to continue to wear surgical/procedural masks and require patients to continue to wear face coverings while in a chiropractic office, as described in the Provincial Order.
The Chief Medical Officer of Health will also continue to maintain the COVID-19 orders and directives related to the health sector until June 11, 2022.
