Unofficial Results for 2021 Elections to CCO Council
March 15, 2021
On March 15, 2021, 4 p.m, every eligible voter in Ontario is receiving an electronic ballot to vote for a candidate for District 7 (Academic). In addition, eligible voters in District 4 (Central) are receiving an electronic ballot for up to two candidates in District 4, and eligible voters in District 5 (Central West) are receiving an electronic ballot for one candidate in District 5. Emails were sent to the voting email address indicated by members.
Voting will close on March 29, 2021, 4 p.m. In the presence of scrutineers, the Registrar will review the electronic votes in each district. Voter confidentiality will be maintained throughout the election process, including whether a member did or did not vote.
Unofficial results will be announced to candidates and posted on the CCO website on March 29, 2021.

Pursuant to By-law 6: Election of Council Members, elections to CCO Council will be held in Districts 1, 4 and 5 and by-elections will be held in Districts 4 and 7 in March 2021.
Please review the documents below for further details. Nomination papers, candidate undertakings, biographical information and additional campaign material must be received by CCO by February 12, 2021 at 4 p.m.

Please note: Due to COVID-19 pandemic, CCO has scheduled an online sitting of the Legislation and Ethics Examination for June 3, 2021. The deadline to apply for this examination is May 14, 2021. Due to the online delivery of the examination, candidates should make themselves available for the entire day. Please complete the application form and submit it to Ms Madeline Cheng, Registration Coordinator to apply for the examination.
