It has come to our attention that a recently formed “working” group is promoting itself – without authority to do so – as “committed to regulation of chiropractic in the public interest.”
The College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) has serious concerns that this statement is misleading to the public. CCO is the sole regulator of the chiropractic profession and chiropractors in Ontario, with a legislated mandate to protect the public interest.
Any complaints or concerns respecting chiropractors should only be directed to the CCO for appropriate action(s) that follow statutory processes and procedures.
No other organization has the mandate or authority to address public concerns and complaints about chiropractic.
