Members of CCO

All practising chiropractors in Ontario must be members of CCO.

There are four classes of categories of registration - General, Temporary, Inactive, Retired. The requirements for registration for these categories are described in Regulation R-137/11. Members holding a General (i.e., active) Certificate of Registration must comply with CCO regulations, standards of practice, policies and guidelines, as well as all Quality Assurance (QA) programs.

CCO views Quality Assurance as an important step in ensuring the public of Ontario receive competent and ethical chiropractic care.
